The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, November 13, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will rip into Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) at Newman Media for staying silent about Victor Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) cruel plan.

When Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) interrupts, she’ll apologize and admit it’s a bit of an emergency.

Nikki will warn Victoria not to do anything rash, but Victoria will admit she doesn’t know what she’s going to do before taking off.

Nikki will turn her attention to Claire, who’ll claim her aunt fell at her lake house and broke her arm.

Nikki will be more than willing to let Claire have a few days off to take care of Aunt Jordan in Oregon.

In fact, Nikki will suggest she could drop Claire off on the Newman jet since she’s taking a surprise trip to see her sister, Casey Reed (Roberta Leighton), who’ll be in Napa for a conference.

Claire will express her gratitude and ask for one more favor since Aunt Jordan is supposedly a huge fan of Nikki’s.

After Claire says Aunt Jordan thinks this job is the best thing that ever happened to her, she’ll wonder if Nikki would be willing to pop in and meet Jordan when she drops her off.

Nikki won’t have much time to spare, but she’ll decide that’d be fine. Claire will thank Nikki profusely before Nikki says she’ll pass along the info about their upcoming flight.

Later, Claire will look shady as she slinks downstairs at the GCAC with her keycard.

In Victor’s office, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will get honest about how he planned to get revenge until Victor exhibited those disturbing warning signs.

That’s when Adam’s plan went out the window since he just wanted to help Victor and keep him around.

Adam will ask where he’ll fit in at Newman Enterprises now that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is gone, but Victor won’t be sure yet.

Although Adam will have his eye on the COO spot, Victor will point out it’d lead to clashing with Victoria – and he’ll also want to know where Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) stands before he does anything else.

A frustrated Adam will eventually suggest that no matter how many times he proves himself, he’s always going to be third in line to the throne.

At Crimson Lights, Nick will get updates on Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) ordeal from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), who’ll admit that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) showed up to see Chance at the hospital.

Talk will turn to Nick’s family drama since Victor indeed sprang a trap – though he’ll admit it was Nate who got caught in it instead of Adam.

Nick will discuss Victor’s desire to bring him back into the family fold, but he’ll mention that he wanted to talk to Sharon first since he made a commitment to her venture.

Although Sharon would love to keep being partners on the revamped Kirsten Incorporated, she’ll acknowledge that things are on track and that she’d be fine doing it alone.

Nick will admit he feels like his family needs him right now, so Sharon will urge him to do what he has to do.

Back at Newman Enterprises, Nick will run into Adam, who’ll point out that he just missed Victor. There’ll be some bickering since Nick still won’t trust Adam and probably never will.

Adam will ask if Nick’s going to keep working with Sharon or come back to Newman Enterprises, but Nick will keep him guessing and suggest that’s private news that he’ll share with their dad.

At the jazz lounge, Victoria will mull over her latest tense interaction with Nate and contemplate contacting him over the phone.

When Nick joins Victoria, they’ll rehash all the Nate drama before Nick mentions his run-in with Adam. Victoria will wonder what Victor’s going to do about Adam now, but Nick won’t have a clue.

After Victoria acknowledges that returning to Newman Enterprises isn’t Nick’s first choice, she’ll be curious whether he’s going to come back to the family company anyway and honor Victor’s request.

Back with Adam on Monday’s Y&R episode, he’ll seem deep in thought as he enters Victor’s office and sits in his father’s chair.

At Newman Media again, Nikki will complain to Victor about the damage his plot did.

Although Victor probably won’t hear from Victoria tonight, Nikki will hope she reaches out to Victor soon.

Nikki will also mention Claire’s aunt breaking her arm and needing her help for a few days.

Victor will hear about Nikki offering to take Claire on the Newman jet and agreeing to meet Aunt Jordan since she’s such a huge fan.

However, Nikki will start to worry it’s a bad idea to leave when there’s so much family upheaval.

Since Casey doesn’t know about the surprise trip, Nikki will suggest her sister wouldn’t be disappointed.

Victor will push Nikki to go have fun since she hasn’t seen Casey in so long and will urge her to bask in the admiration of “this aunt whatever the hell her name is” as well.
