Also in this episode, Chelsea returned and caught up with Billy. Kyle and Mariah updated each other on life. Chloe argued with Summer over fashion designs. Adam and Sally agreed to leave things unlabeled. Victor told Nick and Victoria he wasn’t faking, and he once again told Nate he was the only one he could trust. Now, let’s dig deeper into what happened.

Young and the Restless: Updates

At Society, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) caught up. They discussed Halloween briefly. She revealed that Aria had significant hearing loss, and she worried about the hearing aids not working.

Kyle updated Mariah on his struggles to find a job. He mentioned Jabot, and Mariah seemed surprised. He let her know that things at Jabot might change soon, but Mariah seemed skeptical that Billy would screw up, and she let Kyle know she didn’t like him being ruthless. She suggested that he start his own business, but Kyle wanted his birthright.

At Marchetti, Summer (Allison Lanier) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) disagreed about designs for their upcoming line. Chloe offended Summer by pointing out how much experience she and Chelsea had. She told Summer she was second-guessing everything, and Chloe wanted to know why, but Summer denied it.

Summer said sales had been down, which was why she was pushing them to do better. Chloe suggested Summer was afraid since Kyle was gone, which Summer didn’t appreciate. After more arguing, Summer suggested they take a break.

Billy (Jason Thompson) sat in the park, and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) walked up and said, “Hello stranger.” They kissed hello. Later, at Crimson Lights, he updated him on how great Connor was doing, and soon they went upstairs and got reacquainted.

After, Billy updated Chelsea on his problems at Jabot. She didn’t think that Tucker could really cause trouble at the company, but Billy suggested it might be a diversion. He also explained that Kyle was coming after him. As they talked, Chelsea wondered if Billy was sure he really wanted to fight for Jabot, and Billy reassured her that he did. She said she supported him, and Billy thanked her.

Chelsea showed up at Marchetti, and Chloe updated her on their problem with Summer. Chloe begged Chelsea to help her calm Summer down.

Billy showed up at Society as Mariah left, and Kyle greeted his uncle. He let Kyle know he wanted to clear the air.

Young and the Restless Recap: The Morning After

Adam (Mark Grossman) woke up in Sally’s (Courtney Hope) bed to a text from Nate (Sean Dominic) wondering if he was coming to work. She woke up after he was dressed for work, and Adam asked Sally if she had regrets over their night together. Sally had no regrets, but she wasn’t sure where things went from there. Adam also had no regrets.

At Newman Enterprises, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) walked in. Nick announced to Victor (Eric Braeden) that he’d told his sister the truth. Victoria confronted her father for lying about his mental fitness. They told their dad they would go along with the plan to trap Adam. Victor denied knowing what they were talking about, and he acted confused.

Nate (Sean Dominic) showed up, and he asked Nate to take him out of the office. In the hallway, Nate tried to reassure Victor, and Victor said he didn’t want that type of intrusion in his life. Again, Victor said he couldn’t trust anybody but Nate.

Later, at the park, Victor acted confused again, and he told Nate he would have moments of clarity that would go away. Nate said they’d get it sorted out, and he reassured Victor that his children loved him. As they talked, Victor said he planned to fire Adam and Victoria because they were trying to take him down.
