Adam Hires Claire as Newman Media Mole – Manipulates Nikki with New Employee?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) claims he’s all about self-improvement and redemption now, but can he really be trusted? Behind closed doors, Adam is still drinking and brooding like he’s got a vengeful plan in the works.

It’d be smart for Adam to pretend he’s a changed man and get the Newmans to let their guards down a bit.

There are some family members who’ll never trust Adam, but he can at least try to make them see him in a different light.

Adam is perhaps always going to be treated like the outcast of the Newman clan, but he might make some progress if he sticks with this contrite act long enough.

Even so, Adam is never going to be viewed as some innocent angel, so maybe he’ll recruit someone else who can play that part.

We know that Hayley Erin (ex-Abby Newman-Abbott) will make a Y&R comeback this fall in the new role of Claire Grace.

Claire will be an ambitious fresh face at Newman Media who quickly becomes Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) beloved little pet at the company.

Nikki will take a real interest in Claire’s career and try to help her achieve great things.

Claire will obviously butter Nikki up and treat her like an amazing mentor that she’s eager to learn from.

However, the timing is interesting since Claire’s going to come on the scene right as Adam’s potentially plotting payback.

Does anyone really believe Adam is over his Newman Media obsession? Maybe Adam is just doing a better job of hiding it.

Hayley Erin has an innocent look that would work well if Adam hires Claire as his mole.

Claire might be instructed to flatter Nikki and become the most dependable member of the Newman Media team.

Adam might decide that if he can’t run Newman Media, then no one can! Perhaps Adam will seek Claire’s help destroying Newman Media from the inside.

Then again, maybe Adam hasn’t given up on somehow getting his hands on Newman Media and running it himself.

There might be some new strategy that Claire could help Adam pull off.

Regardless, Adam has proven that he can’t be trusted. We can’t trust Claire either since she’s a blank slate that no one knows anything about.
