Jordi Vilasuso Says He’d LOVE To Play Nikolas Cassadine

General Hospital spoilers don’t offer much insight on when Nikolas Cassadine, recently played by actor Adam Huss, may return to the land of Port Charles. Nikolas told Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) on the September 15 GH episode that he was heading to Europe to send a message to his mom Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that he was still alive before his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) could gain access to the Cassadine Estate.

Sadly, just as quickly as Nikolas popped up in General Hospital episodes Pautauk (and daytime drama screens), he left.

This has GH fans wondering if actor Adam Huss is simply continuing his temporary stint as Nikolas Cassadine to keep the storyline moving forward and if producers are still searching for a permanent replacement.

Adam Huss has done an incredible job, considering the circumstances, and many viewers would love to see him in the land of Port Charles on a full-time basis. However, one X follower placed a great idea via a tweet when it came to recasting the legacy GH character with a very popular The Young and the Restless actor.

X user @Soap_Dude2 recently tweeted that if fans couldn’t have TC (Tyler Christopher) or AH (Adam Huss) as Nikolas on the show, what about Jordi Vilasuso? The X user notes, he’d be “perfect”.

Of course, it didn’t take long for the Y&R actor and soap opera veteran to retweet the post with a quote of a prayer emoji, a heart emoji, and a “thinking face” emoji.

Looks like Jordi Vilasuso would be very interested in jumping into the role of incredible General Hospital legacy character Nikolas Cassadine and would likely nail the role (just based on looks alone).

Jordi is no stranger to daytime drama, just finishing a run with the Young and the Restless (Y&R) as the ever-popular Rey Rosales from 2018-2022. I

In fact, Y&R fans were stunned (and more than a little upset) that the show shockingly killed him off during a car crash, in which he ended up having a heart attack that was the “cause of his death”.

Prior to that, Jordi Vilasuso worked as Darion Hernandez on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) from 2016-2017 and was a part of All My Children (AMC) playing Griffin Castillo (on and off) from 2010-2013.
