Nikolas & Spencer’s New Alliance – Father Seeks Son’s Help Against Esme & Ava?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show has a chance to switch things up and do something different when it comes to the Cassadine men. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is currently fed up with his father since he believes Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) abandoned him again.
That’s not entirely true since Ava Jerome (Maura West) bashed Nikolas in the head and caused a traumatic brain injury that nearly caused his grim fate.
Nikolas arguably deserved that blow to the head for threatening Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), but the point is Nik couldn’t reach out to Spencer or anyone else while he was in a coma.
Of course, Nikolas could reach out now that he’s almost fully recovered, so Spencer has a right to blame him for that.
However, it’d be refreshing if Nikolas told Spencer the truth and got him back on his side.
This would be the perfect opportunity for these Cassadines to stand together instead of feuding for the umpteenth time.
It’ll be repetitive if we have to watch Spencer go up against Nikolas again, so why not let Spencer partner up with his father instead?
GH fans know Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has been urging Spencer to remember the good he used to see in his dad, so here’s his chance to do just that.
Ava believed Nikolas was deceased all this time and said absolutely nothing to Spencer or Laura Collins (Genie Francis) about it.
Laura has been off on a dangerous trip searching for Nikolas, so Ava arguably let Laura put her life at stake for no reason by withholding her news.
Although Nikolas claims he wants to set things right with Ava, we’re not so sure he means that. Nikolas’ idea of “setting things right” might actually mean getting even!
Naturally, Nikolas might also hope to take Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) down and score custody of Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) for himself.
If Nikolas can spin this just right and remind Spencer of Esme’s horrible past, maybe he can convince his son to be an ally rather than an enemy.
It’d be exciting to see Nikolas and Spencer team up for a change, so maybe Nik will recruit Spencer for help going up against Esme and Ava.
