Currently, on Y&R, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants nothing more than to redeem herself for teaming up with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and faking her death. She’s trying to make things right with everyone she’s hurt.

However, she’s not going about it the right way. Soon, she forms a partnership with someone, and it ends up causing chaos. She is already meddling in her son, Daniel Romalotti‘s (Michael Graziadei) love life on Young and the Restless.

And she’s interfering in her daughter Summer Newman‘s (Allison Lanier) life. Of course, she’s wracked with guilt for the part she played in the destruction of Summer’s marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). But, this is clearly, not the way to get back into their good graces.

Red up to Old Tricks on Y&R

Recently, on Young and the Restless, Phyllis tried to play matchmaker between Daniel and his ex, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). She knows Heather still has feelings for Daniel. And she suspects that he harbors feelings for her as well. Plus he feels guilty for ruining the relationship.

No doubt, in Phyllis’ mind, she thinks she can fix things with Daniel by reuniting him with Heather. And by putting their family back together for the sake of their daughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).

But of course, he wants her to keep herself out of it, especially because he doesn’t want to hurt his current girlfriend, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Red can’t help herself, and she doesn’t know how to stay out of other people’s business — especially her children’s. And she might end up pushing them away for good on Young and the Restless.

Phyllis Gets Help on Young and the Restless

Y&R Fall preview spoilers confirm Phyllis’ quest for redemption backfires. Of course, because she’s already back to scheming again. Apparently, she did not learn her lesson, and everyone is going to see that, especially Summer and Daniel.

So, they may finally wash their hands of her when she causes more problems. After all, they already threatened to do it once. But, on the plus side, someone from Phyllis’ past comes back into her life right when she needs someone the most on Young and the Restless.

And chances are, it’s her ex and Daniel’s father, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). The rockstar is set to return soon and for an extended stay. So he may rekindle what he used to have with Phyllis. Or, he may just be a good friend and source of support.
