Victor/Nick Throwback Really Packs a Punch — Watch This!

Longtime viewers of The Young and the Restless have watched Nick grow up over the years since Joshua Morrow stepped into the role in 1994. And with any family, the Newmans have had their fair share of ups and downs and continue to butt heads to this day. Even though the great Victor Newman wasn’t always the best role model, he loves all of his kids and has tried to teach them the ropes, if you will, in business and in life.

And speaking of ropes, though they never went toe-to-toe in a boxing ring together, Victor did teach his son Nick a thing or two about the sport… Eric Braeden recently shared a then-and-now post featuring a throwback video of Victor showing Nick how to “make every punch count” but not to land them “too fast between the jab and the right cross.” And following another try, Nick made his pops proud and after taking a breather he stated, “I think I got it,” to which Victor replied, “I think you’ve got it, son.”

Braeden also shared a photo of the father/son duo from the Friday, October 13, episode where Nick was taking his frustration over Adam out on the heavy bag — and the entire post got the attention of their castmate Lauralee Bell (Christine), who cheered, “Love it!” as fan tluv204043 stated, “The best father/son duo on daytime television!”
