Sheila’s Medical Crisis – Dr. Finn Lets Mom Die?
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) marriage is on the rocks – and it’s all because of his connection to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Although Finn has promised to cut Sheila fully out of the picture, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has lost faith in him.
Now Finn’s in the doghouse and might be wondering if he made the right decision when Sheila landed in the hospital following a heart attack.
B&B fans will recall that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) wanted to let Sheila perish and finally be done with her. It was Finn who insisted on saving Sheila since that’s just the kind of person he is.
Finn is a caring doctor who’s been trained to do no harm, so he couldn’t stand by and do nothing. However, people can change once they’re backed into horrible corners and pushed to their breaking points.
Finn has been terrified about the possibility of losing the family he created with Steffy, so who knows what he might be capable of without that safety net?
Sheila’s history of heart issues could come back into play at some point. It could lead to Sheila having another heart attack or at least some complications that ultimately put her life at risk. If Sheila faces a new medical crisis, it could bring Finn’s chance at a do-over.
Finn might once again face the choice of whether he’ll save Sheila or let her pass away. Whether this happens in a hospital setting or not, it might be interesting to show a different side of Finn. Perhaps Finn could decide that Li was right the first time – that they’ll all be better off if Sheila doesn’t survive.
Finn does feel something for Sheila, but he doesn’t want a relationship with her at the expense of his marriage. It seems like Finn and Steffy will never know true peace as long as Sheila’s alive, so that could be a factor if Finn controls his birth mom’s fate.
Although Finn was grateful to Sheila for saving Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay), that doesn’t mean he won’t do something drastic if the writers want him to go there.
Finn may not be willing to plot against his bio mom in some sinister way, but he might be willing to let her breathe her last breath if Sheila’s weak heart lets her down!
