Will ‘The Hook’ Make Halloween Comeback – Sinister Scenes Ahead?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that spooky season is upon us now that October is underway. Halloween is coming up at the end of the month, so it’s time to start thinking about the surprises that the show might have in store.

On X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, the GH account offered an intriguing hint about something sinister.

According to a recent post, “A darkness is descending over Port Charles…”

Of course, it’s possible they just wanted to let fans have a glimpse of the new Halloween décor that’ll be featured on screen soon.

There were indeed some pumpkins and other seasonal items on a prop cart in the pic that was shared.

However, we can’t help but notice the tone of the caption was a little creepy!

They could’ve just as easily hinted that Halloween tricks and treats were coming if they wanted to keep it light, but they chose a rather ominous-sounding message instead.

With that in mind, we have to consider what kind of “darkness is descending over Port Charles” since that could mean a far-reaching threat.

Will a villainous return happen just in time for Halloween this year?

It’s possible a nefarious character from the past will show up – like Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) since he remains a big part of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) story through his influence on Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

Then again, there could be another sinister comeback if “The Hook” aka Heather Webber (Alley Mills) winds up on the loose again.

There could even be a copycat hook or perhaps a villain from further back in GH history instead.

Regardless, there are good reasons to think some Halloween horror is brewing, so it’ll be interesting to see what the show has in the works.
