General Hospital Spoilers: The “Old” Sonny Is Returning, His Wrath Will Shake Those Who Betrayed Him

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has softened a bit since he returned from Nixon Falls. His amnesia and stint as “Mike” provided a different perspective for the mob boss, and in many ways, he’s evolved into a calmer version of himself.

Still, with all that’s going on around him and the ones he loves, will he snap and bring the “old” no-nonsense Sonny back?

General Hospital Spoilers  – His Eyes Are Telling A Story

GH spoilers hint that Sonny may be on to Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). He can sense something is not right with Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) recent meltdown and the way he’s been glaring at Ms. Corbin when talking to her has brought back a snapshot of the “old” Sonny.

If he finds out what she’s been up to, she may suffer some major consequences. Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) could have done Gladys this “favor” to get back at Sonny (or to get information on him), so if that’s the reason, Corinthos would unleash an even bigger wrath on the duo if and when he finds out the truth. He cares for Sasha, she’s still family to him in his heart and he hates watching the poor young lady suffer.

The problem is, Sonny’s got a massive target on his back. As the kingpin mobster in town, he’s got other “families” in Port Charles gunning for him, including Selina Wu (Lydia Look), as well as the feds, plus who can forget how he was almost shot some months ago during the warehouse check for the Pikeman shipment?

On top of that, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) has his eye on bringing Corinthos down (Mason could be linked to the Pikeman shooting, but it is hard to say).

GH Spoilers – Everyone Has A Breaking Point

At some point, all these people behind the targets will be exposed. It may happen, all at once. Sonny could feel as if the walls are closing in on him, but even more so, he may sense that his softened heart is being viewed as a weakness.

If that’s the case, the “old” Sonny could re-emerge and jump on a warpath that Port Charles hasn’t seen in years. His mentality used to be, shoot first and ask questions later. If that re-emerges, everyone gunning for the mob boss better take cover.
