Willow Forgives Nina When Michael Can’t – Huge Marriage Blowup Brewing?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show has an opportunity to shake things up when it comes to the Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) saga. We watched Nina struggle to connect with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) for months and finally make progress, but now the SEC snitch secret could ruin things all over again.

Although Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will initially blackmail Nina and try to control her access to Willow, it’s only a matter of time until the truth comes out anyway.

Of course, Willow has proven she’s stubborn when it comes to opening her heart to Nina, so it’s entirely possible that she’ll close it off once more and hop back on the Nina hate train.

However, that honestly feels too repetitive and predictable at this point. Michael can do enough hating for the both of them, so maybe Willow should find herself torn despite Nina’s actions.

It’s been odd for Willow to put Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) on a pedestal considering Harmony raised a child who wasn’t hers, lied to Willow her entire life and dragged her into a cult.

It’s Harmony’s fault that Willow was put in a situation where she wound up pregnant by evil Shiloh Archer (Coby McLaughlin).

Harmony went on to cause Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) grim fate – not to mention she nearly wiped Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grah) off the map, too!

It makes zero sense for Willow to be dreaming of Harmony like she’s some sort of guardian angel.

Harmony caused Willow so much pain, so it’s ridiculous for this dream version of her to act like she’s some sort of protector.

Could there be a reason why GH writers are taking such a bizarre approach when it comes to Harmony and Willow’s bond?

What if they’re laying the groundwork for Willow to realize she’s cutting Harmony all kinds of slack that she won’t cut Nina?

Willow will inevitably be angry when Nina’s role in reporting Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC is exposed, but that doesn’t mean she has to stay mad forever.

It’d be nice if Willow could cool down sooner rather than later and forgive Nina – even when Michael can’t and is standing firmly in Carly’s corner.

The fact that Michael blackmailed Nina may rile Willow up too and actually work in Nina’s favor.

Willow won’t appreciate Michael making manipulative moves behind her back, so she may lash out and act like he’s no better than Nina!

Plus, Willow might struggle with the idea of losing another mother and decide she’s willing to give Nina another chance, especially if Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) tries to steer her in a more forgiving direction.

It’d be great to shake up the story and have Willow go against Michael instead of them always being on the same side.

Michael and Willow’s marriage could wind up on the rocks if they disagree about whether to forgive Nina in the end.

Once Willow eventually gets updates on the SEC snitch news and perhaps finds a path to showing Nina mercy, that could take a real toll on her relationship with Michael.

General Hospital spoilers say the fallout of Nina’s secret exposure will bring some excitement down the road, so stay tuned.
