Although Michael later had a change of heart, he kept paying Dex to report back when Sonny landed in risky situations.

It’s easy to see why Sonny was furious since his own son wanted him behind bars – and even after Michael bailed on that plan, he kept secrets with Dex and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Sonny was rightfully insulted since they basically felt he needed a mob boss babysitter!

Since Sonny is still holding a grudge, Michael could use a way to make amends.

It’s true that Michael summoned Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) back to Port Charles, which worked out well since Dex played a role in saving Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) life.

However, Michael still went behind Sonny’s back and ignored his father’s wishes to make that happen, so it may not go a long way toward patching things up with him.

Of course, Sonny is dealing with a new traitor crisis now since Jason’s behavior looks awfully suspicious.

Although Sonny struggled to believe Jason would betray him, he admitted to Ava Jerome (Maura West) that he didn’t say he trusted Jason 100 percent.

During the week of March 11-15, Sonny will worry that Jason isn’t the same person he used to be. Jason’s actions will put him on the hot seat, so he’ll have to explain his reasons for going about things the way he did.

It appears Jason has been working undercover to protect Sonny, but why didn’t he try to reach out and warn him? Jason may have decided it was too risky, but Sonny may not be satisfied with that explanation.

Sonny has been in the dark while Jason’s been working alongside the enemy, so that’s something that Sonny may have a hard time wrapping his head around.

Plus, Jason let all his loved ones believe he was deceased, so Sonny may not be happy with him for leaving so many people in pain.

GH spoilers suggest that even after Jason clears up his motives, that doesn’t mean his friendship with Sonny will get back on track right away.

There are some hints about Jason and Sonny continuing to clash, so Jason’s reasons may not be good enough in Sonny’s eyes.

If that’s the case, Michael might be able to play peacemaker and help Jason fix things with Sonny.

Since Michael is someone who cares about them both, he’d be invested in making sure Sonny and Jason become true friends again.

Would that be a nice redemption arc for Michael? Will Michael be the one to help Jason and Sonny repair their damaged bond?
