Making a soap is no easy feat. Especially, one that has been going on for as long as General Hospital, year after year, five days a week. But the makers are their cautious best while helming the show together for a flawless entertaining experience. Yet, sometimes, some boo-boos slip through the cracks!
That’s exactly what happened in one of the recent General Hospital episode. In a scene that was supposed to be dramatic and intense, ended up leaving viewers in chuckles! As many viewers know, Dante recently took a bullet during the whole Sonny’s trap and Jason’s return track.
Leading the man to the hospital-fighting for his life. During the surgery scene, Dr. Portia was tending to Dante on General Hospital. She puts a stethoscope on her patient and panics when she fails to detect a heartbeat, then goes on to scream code. But many eagle eyed viewers were in splits noticing that her stethoscope was not in her ears!
Now, of course, it is just a show and she was following script. With no real lives hanging in the balance, or any actual medical knowledge at play, yet, it was a hilarious blooper. Videos and screen grabs of the scene are going viral on in the social media circuits, with fans having a field day with it!
Thankfully, General Hospital fans took the blooper in jest and the soap did not actually have to face any severe backlash for the lapse in continuity. Although we do hope this does not become a regular feature on the soap, as it would take away from the authenticity of the make-believe world, and dampen the viewing experience.
