Friday, September 1 – New Job Offer, Former Flame’s Surprise and Puzzling Patient

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, September 1, reveal Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will try to make things right with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) after his 24-hour psychiatric hold ends. That means Shawn will apologize to Jada for outing her romance with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and all the drama that followed.

Of course, Jada wasn’t happy about Shawn getting handed the police commissioner job after he got Rafe fired. Now that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) has offered Rafe his job back, Shawn will hope that they can all find a peaceful way forward.

Days spoilers say Jada will be glad that Shawn is getting the help he needs and should show some sympathy over his mental health issues.

As for Rafe, Jada has encouraged him to accept the police commissioner position again – even if it means putting their romance on hold until Paulina gets the policy changed.

However, Rafe isn’t sure that’s what he wants, so he’ll continue to mull over his future until he finally makes a decision and passes along updates.

Perhaps Rafe will ultimately urge Paulina to promote Jada instead since she’s more than ready to become a leader at the Salem PD.

Other Days spoilers say Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) will show up at the townhouse, where Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will open the door and react to the shocking news of her visit.

DOOL fans can expect Theresa to be in town for Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) funeral, but that’ll turn out to be a convenient excuse for her “Thrady” reunion pursuit.

Over with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), she’ll get a mysterious new patient played by Dick Van Dyke. Days spoilers state that Jada will bring in a man who can’t remember his name, where he’s from or much else for that matter.

Due to a head injury, this mystery guy will be struggling to put the puzzle of his life together, so Kayla will summon Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to help him.
