Monday, October 16 – Tripp Injured as Patient Goes Wild – Clyde & Lucas Return

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, October 16, reveal that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will get honest about their feelings for each other. Now that they’ve shared a kiss, Harris and Ava will do their best to navigate this new chapter of their love lives.

At the hospital, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will have a disturbing encounter with an unruly patient (James Simenc).

It turns out this guy will suddenly slice him with a scalpel, but Tripp will gain control of the situation and avoid serious harm.

After Tripp gets bandaged up and returns home later, he’ll once again quiz Ava about her relationship with Harris.

Ava will be more interested in how Tripp got hurt and will grow concerned once she hears the story behind his arm injury.

Meanwhile, it looks like Clyde Weston (James Read) will be revealed as the person who delivered Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) to Edmund Crumb (Adam Caine).

Days just hinted at it by having EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) rant about the mystery kidnapper while an inmate read Susan’s survival story online.

DOOL fans couldn’t see that inmate’s face, but it was obviously Clyde since he’s set to return in Monday’s episode.

It turns out Tripp’s wild patient was acting on Clyde’s orders, so Clyde will call Ava up and reveal that to her.

Clyde’s threat will unsettle Ava, who’ll agree to visit Statesville and see what he wants.

While Clyde plots his next move, Days spoilers say Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will become a little less harsh in her stance with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).

Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) survival was a game-changer that’s clearly affected Sarah’s view of Xander a bit.

However, Sarah will go right back to lashing out once she learns Xander intends to go after full custody of Victoria Horton.

That news will launch another round of fighting as Xander and Sarah prepare for court.

Across town, Days spoilers say Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will push Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) away on Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) birthday.

Although Stephanie will offer to head to the cemetery with Chad, he’ll insist on going alone.

Stephanie will act like she understands, but she’ll still be a little hurt over Chad’s refusal to lean on her in his time of need.

Nevertheless, Chad will be uncomfortable with the idea of his new love visiting his deceased wife’s grave with him.

Stephanie will feel like it’s another way for Chad to create distance between them, so she’ll worry about where things stand in their relationship.

After Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) clashes with Clyde in the slammer, he’ll connect with Chad over the phone on this day of remembrance and offer some good advice.
