The Shocking Truth About Victor’s Will Is Going to Open Up ‘Like a Somewhat Disturbed Flower’

It looks like we’re about to take another turn as we work to get to the truth behind Victor’s will on Days of Our Lives. But we have to admit, while we figured there’d be twists aplenty, we were not expecting this one!

The unsurprising news is that Theresa knows a secret about the contents of the will, which seems like it can only mean one thing: It didn’t originally say what everyone thinks it does! That revelation in the most recent issue of Soap Opera Digest is what a great many of us have been waiting for — but the really shocking part is that Konstantin is in on the grift too!

Days' Theresa greets a smirking Konstantin at the door

His random appearance in Salem was definitely odd, and his showing up at Theresa’s door at the end of Days of Our Lives on Friday was even odder. It turns out, he barged in on Theresa when she was reading the will back in Greece and decided he’d go after the half of the money left to Maggie, while Theresa would go after the half left to Victor’s heir.

“He and Theresa are after similar aims,” John Kapelos told SOD of his character. “They’re both seeking fortunes, so there’s a duplicity, a common goal there.”

Even more surprising, though? This team up may not have been Theresa’s idea. But for better or worse, she’s stuck with it now.

Standing with Maggie in the Kiriakis mansion, Justin shakes Konstantin's hand.

“Konstantin seems to be the more dominant force,” Kapelos revealed, “the more manipulative one, and seems to be driving the bus, so to speak. I don’t think she’ll give up the ghost on Konstantin because she’s sinking her own ship at the same time, so there’s an unholy alliance there for certain, and it’s based on their common goal of greed.”

It makes sense that while Theresa’s perfectly happy to go after Alex, she might feel a little worse about poor, grieving Maggie being taken advantage of. So why would she go along with it? Maybe Konstantin barged in as she was switching things around with the will and the letters so she could target Alex. He’d have that to hold over her head, forcing her to keep her mouth shut as he works Maggie and the Kiriakis family. She wants Alex’s money, and Konstantin could not just ruin that, he could ruin her with what she’d done.

With that said, Kapelos also admits that as greedy as Konstantin is, part of him falls for Maggie during the grift. And how could he not? He’d be lucky to have a woman like her! But that doesn’t mean he’s going to call it off.

“We’re at the beginning of a very, very interesting road,” Kapelos shared. “Konstantin opens himself up like a somewhat disturbed flower, and I think that they should watch him like a hawk.”

Well, that’s certainly a turn of phrase that doesn’t sound good for Maggie, Theresa or anyone else in the Kiriakis family! The truth about Victor’s will and his heir is out there, but it’s suddenly seeming a whole lot more dangerous than we thought before. Because you know what they say: “Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead.”

And Konstantin may decide that some secrets are better left just to him.
