Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that knowing Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) could prove dangerous for Harris Michaels (Steve Burton). That’s because Ava is being blackmailed by inmate Clyde Weston (James Read) into overseeing his outside drug business. If she refuses, harm will come to her son Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and just to make sure she is on board, Clyde arranged to have a patient cut Tripp in order to send a warning message.

The stakes are even higher after her minder, Gil Carter (David S. Lee), realized that Ava is connected to newbie Salem PD cop Harris, and this could be a goldmine.

Ava is grateful (and more) to Harris for his help and she wouldn’t want anything to happen to him, so that can be used as leverage over her. But, just as with Tripp, Harris could be harmed as a way of getting her attention and cooperation.

Ava and Harris are taking things to a new level with a first date soon! Is this something that Harris could live (or die) to regret?

It would be amiss not to note that the General Hospital fandom is clamoring for Burton to return to his role as Jason Morgan. We have no way of knowing if or when that will ever happen, but that scenario is worth mentioning in terms of Harris’ longevity!

After the first date Harris wants another, and at the same time Ava is getting more caught up Clyde’s illegal world. The conflict will grow with Detective Michaels’ Spidey Sense on alert, sensing that something is off with Ava. If Gil sees Harris getting suspicious, Clyde will be informed.

Dool Spoilers – Clyde Weston Is A Mean, Mean, Mean Man

Clyde is in prison for the murder of Abigail DiMera so he will have no problem ordering Harris neutralized if he senses he is a threat to his operation.

DOOL’s fall preview video shows that Harris is in an alarming situation in which he is bleeding out after a shot rings out. Ava runs to help him and her concern is palpable.

His life may depend on Ava being able to save him, and even if she does, she will know that Clyde is serious about protecting his drug empire.
