As soon as the truth began to come out about Xander’s baby with Sarah on Days of Our Lives, we had a feeling it was only a matter of time before we’d be saying goodbye to Chloe. Heartbreak has a way of chasing folks out of town, and Chloe’s a pro at leaving Salem for a time to rest and recover until her next go around inevitably leaves her devastated. What we weren’t quite expecting, though, was how fast she’d split — or that she’d be leaving under (kind of) happy circumstances!

Philip stands in Chloe's doorway wearing a hangdog expression.

Just as she realized Xander would never be able to love her like he’s loved Sarah, Chloe also realized she felt the same about Philip. So before her tears could even dry, she asked her former and future beau if they could leave together and now Soap Opera Digest confirms that both Nadia Bjorlin and John-Paul Lavoisier will be exiting as their characters leave together next week.

Bjorlin’s latest run as Chloe began back in December of 2020, marking almost three years, while Lavoisier came back to give Philip a chance to say goodbye to Victor at the end of August.

Both Chloe and Philip have a habit of popping in and out of Salem in the decades since they debuted, but this is the first time the two have ever been on the same page enough to leave together. They’ve flirted, loved and tried to be together countless times, but maybe this time, now that they’re finally getting away from Salem’s drama together, they’ll make it work.

Or Chloe will return seven months from now pregnant with Xander’s baby, because these types of things happen more often than not! And one thing we’re sure of is we won’t have seen the last of her and Philip!
