Y&R Spoilers Speculation: End of the Road

There is always the possibility that Nate (Sean Dominic) will wash his hands of the whole, underhanded business world thing, and go back to practicing medicine. He was good at that. Remember the life of the overdosed kid he and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) saved? He is most definitely not good at business. He failed with Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James). We still don’t know what he’s doing for Victoria (Amelia Heinle) — besides the obvious. This experiment is a failure. Pull the plug.

The Big Boss

Victor (Eric Braeden) is so obviously playing Nate at the moment, that it would make sense for him to decide Newman isn’t the place for him. In the end, Victor will protect Victoria, Nick (Joshua Morrow), and even Adam (Mark Grossman) before Nate. So why not get out now? Before he’s made a scapegoat.

There is nothing Mamie (Veronica Redd) can offer Nate that’s better than what Victoria is giving him. Victoria has made Nate her talk-to, her right-hand man, and her partner in crime. He can manipulate her, and he can hide behind her when things go wrong. It’s the ideal situation, and Nate would be foolish to throw away a good thing. It’s Newman or bust! Sure, Victoria may grow tired of him eventually. But, until that day comes, he should bloom where he’s worked so hard to be planted.
