Vet Hunter King Marvels at ‘What a Beautiful, Magical Wedding It Was’
“For the last couple of days, I’ve been trying to think of a way to put last weekend into words,” Hunter King admitted at the top of her September 9 Instagram post. But words failed her as she attempted to describe the nuptials of younger sister Joey (who starred in the Kissing Booth movies and EP’d the latter two). “To be honest, nothing I write out quite encapsulates what a beautiful, magical wedding it was.”
As Joey tied the knot on the Spanish island of Mallorca on September 3 with Steven Piet, who’d directed her in Hulu’s limited series The Act (which you need to watch if you haven’t; she slays in it!), “we danced till almost 3 am, we cried happy tears — OK, I cried a lot of happy tears — and we didn’t stop smiling once,” the alum of The Young and the Restless said. “I couldn’t be happier that these two found each other and now get to spend forever together.”
Hunter and her other older sister Kelli both acted as bridesmaids at the love-in. “The best part was seeing all our friends who didn’t know each other just melting into one another and instantly connecting,” the new missus told Vogue. “We are surrounded by the best people, and seeing them all together was infectiously joyous.”
In closing, Summer’s former portrayer called the event “truly the most incredible wedding for the most incredible people.”
