Y&R spoilers suggest that Summer and Sharon aren’t exactly mortal enemies. However, all is fair in love and war, right? Sharon and Chance aren’t married, so she’ll reason that it’s not underhanded at all to shoot her shot with the handsome police chief.

Summer recently had a chat with her mom Phyllis, where Red reminded her of the animosity between her and Sharon over the years.

The two fought hard over Summer’s dad, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but in the end, neither of them scored his heart.

Still, many Shick fans could argue that the bond Nick shares with Sharon will always be greater than the one he has with Phyllis. Could Summer have an idea to reunite Shick? That would leave Chance open for her.

Y&R Spoilers – It Would Be A Win-Win Situation, Right?

Summer isn’t as devious as her mom. She’s not even close to being the schemer Red is. Summer may run into Shick as they are strategizing over their company and see some old sparks there. If she encourages or helps a reunion, it could ease her conscience.

After all, Sharon might be happier with her dad, and now that both are in a good place in life, they could rekindle that old Shick magic to truly live out their “happily ever after”.

Summer could then romance Chance, and in her mind, it would be a win-win situation since her dad is currently single.
