The Young and the Restless Update: Monday, December 11 – Jordan’s Fatal Bag of Tricks, Cole’s Mission & Claire Tested

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, December 11, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will seek Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) defense attorney help for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).

However, Michael will admit that if he were going to defend Claire, he’d get her a comprehensive psychological evaluation and try to get her treated.

That way, Claire could face a quicker stint in a mental hospital instead of going to prison.

Of course, exonerating Claire will be another possibility, but Michael will want to speak with her in person and put her to the test before he takes the case.

After Claire has a horrible nightmare where Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) taunts her, she’ll wake up for Michael’s visit and promise to be honest.

Claire will pour her heart out during this conversation and seem sincere about her regrets, so Michael will look like he believes her.

Although Claire won’t expect forgiveness from Cole and Victoria, she’ll want to get her freedom and move on with her life if possible.

From there, Michael will just have to decide whether he’s willing to help Claire get a fresh start.

Meanwhile, Jordan will remain determined to take down the sanctimonious Newmans, so she’ll remove a knife from her bag along with what we can assume are poison vials.

Jordan will also send Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) some text messages with fatal hints in them.

There’ll be lines from Edgar Allan Poe’s The Sleeper and a disturbing pic of Nikki unconscious from her lake house ordeal.

Nikki will get upset over Jordan’s attempt to push her over the edge, so she’ll drink vodka straight from the bottle and give her tea a splash of it, too.

Later, Victoria will bring Nikki and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) up to speed on Michael’s meeting with Claire.

Since Victor and Nikki will still think Claire’s horrible for everything she’s done, they won’t agree with the deal Victoria made with her.

Victoria will understand that Claire could bail on her end of the bargain, but she’ll be prepared for that since Cole will be off searching for Claire’s DNA sample at the lake house.

Even if Claire doesn’t provide a sample of her own, Victoria will feel confident that she can get to the truth.

As for the outcome of the looming DNA test, Victoria will admit she wants to help Claire either way since she’s Jordan’s victim as well.

At Crimson Lights on Monday’s Y&R episode, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will dodge Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) questions about why so many Newmans went MIA.

When Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) runs into Nick and makes him grimace in pain, she’ll grill him as well.

Adam will think it seems like Nick’s injured, but Nick will take off without providing answers.

Once Adam’s alone with Sally, he’ll push her to take a leap of faith with him.

Sally won’t know for certain how she feels about their steamy night in bed and where they go from here, but she’ll at least agree to eat with him and consider a reset.

After Nick makes it to the ranch, he’ll find out about Victoria trying to help Claire. Nick will understand on some level, but he’ll also worry about landing back on Jordan’s radar due to all this.

Victoria will feel like she has to pursue this no matter what since Claire could be her little girl from all those years ago.

After Nikki talks about the work that’s probably piled up at Newman Media, she’ll want to get back to the office and handle it soon.

Victoria will hint about Nikki perhaps needing some additional support – something more than just the AA meetings that Nikki’s already going to.

Once Nikki’s cell phone gets a notification, Victoria will notice that her mom seems tense.

After Victoria pushes Nikki to open up, she’ll get updates on all the terrifying unknown calls and texts.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will assume Jordan is to blame, so she’ll obviously want her stopped!
