Will Rey Rosales Return to Y&R – Send Chance a Message from the Great Beyond?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is Genoa City’s new chief of police, so he recently talked to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) about this safer career path. Summer is grateful that Chance will be in less danger – or so she thinks!

In reality, Chance may soon be in more danger than ever since there are some big hints about him ending up hospitalized.

With that in mind, we should consider how Chance might get wounded and whether this scary news will still connect to his work at the GCPD.

Y&R fans will recall how Chance was obsessed with wrapping up all Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuo) cases after his demise.

Chance felt the need to solve the unfinished assignments Rey left behind as a way to honor his memory.

What if Chance angered the wrong person when he solved one of those cases?

Chance might be targeted by the vengeful family member of someone he put away or something along those lines.

Regardless, Chance is growing closer to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), who’s finally ready to move on following Rey’s tragic fate.

This might be the perfect time for Rey Rosales’ ghost to pop up in a dream or vision.

Sharon never got any closure with Rey since he passed away so suddenly, so it’d be nice if he could appear to her and offer some comfort.

Rey might help Sharon make sense of her feelings, especially if almost losing Chance deepens them.

Sharon may still have a few emotional walls up, so Rey might help tear those down and insist it’s OK to let herself get serious with someone other than him.

Then again, Rey might appear to Chance while his life is hanging in the balance.

Chance could get a spirit-realm visit from Rey, who might insist it’s not his former partner’s time to go yet.

Rey might send Chance back to the land of the living and urge him not to play games with Sharon’s heart. Maybe Rey could push Chance to decide whether he wants to go all in with Sharon or not.

Of course, all of this could complicate things for Summer since her own feelings for Chance are getting stronger every day.

Summer may realize she’s truly falling in love with Chance after this close call lands him in the hospital.

Can you imagine how heartbreaking it would be for Summer if Chance woke up ready for a bigger commitment to Sharon?
