The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nate’s Secret Tucker Meeting – Risky New Recruit Spells Trouble
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will hope to get Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) on his side – perhaps for a couple different reasons. For starters, Tucker wants to make peace with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) if he can.
Nate still isn’t on the greatest terms with Devon, but they’ve come a long way from where they were before.
There was a time when Devon could barely stand to be in the same room as Nate, but now he’s considering letting him come back to Chancellor-Winters.
Devon is also open to repairing his family bond with Nate like Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) has been pushing for. Tucker might decide that if there’s hope for Nate, then there’s hope for him, too.
Since Tucker will target Nate and hope to turn him into a new recruit, that may be part of his angle. Tucker might hope Nate can put in a good word for him once he’s truly in the inner circle again.
Of course, that may be difficult considering Tucker’s other goal and how Nate could fit in. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) recently pitched a vague job offer to Nate, so she’s obviously hoping he can come join her team if a Jabot takeover happens.
It sounds like Audra may sell Tucker on the idea as well since he’ll apparently summon Nate for a meeting soon.
During the week of December 4-8, Y&R spoilers say Tucker will plot to make Nate a key player in his plans, but how will Nate respond?
It’s possible Nate will refuse to take the meeting at all, but Tucker could always ambush him or pass along a message through Audra. Tucker will find a way to get some updates to Nate if he works hard enough.
Naturally, it’s also possible Nate will take the meeting willingly and see what Tucker’s up to.
Nate might decide to scope out the situation and see if there might be any news he needs to report back to Devon.
It might be a smart strategy for Nate to earn some points and win back a little of Devon’s trust.
Since Jabot belongs to Abby Newman-Abbott’s (Melissa Ordway) family, Devon won’t approve of Tucker’s nefarious intentions for the company.
Plus, it seems Tucker will be actively trying to steal Nate away from Chancellor-Winters and his opportunity to make amends there.
It’d be easy for Devon to disapprove of all this, especially since Tucker will inevitably go about it in a super shady way.
However, there’s a chance Nate will surrender to his worst impulses and gravitate toward whatever power Tucker and Audra can offer him.
This could eventually become less about trying to make things up to Devon and more about Nate’s selfish desires!
