Billy & Heather Deserve a Chemistry Test – Sizzling Pairing Possibility
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) clearly wants Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) back, but will she get her wish? Daniel is committed to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) right now, but there’s certainly a chance that he’ll drift back in Heather’s direction.
That’s especially true since Christel Khalil’s maternity leave is coming up, but that doesn’t mean Heather and Daniel are endgame.
It’s possible Heather’s simply in love with the idea of restoring her happy family instead of being in love with Daniel himself.
In other words, Heather may be setting herself up for disappointment if she expects to have a future with Daniel again.
This version of Daniel and Heather’s romance feels like it’s falling flat, so Y&R may not make any major commitments to what’s arguably a flop pairing.
Of course, Daniel might surrender to a moment of temptation – just enough to blow up his romance with Lily and leave him with some work to do when it comes to winning her back.
Then again, there’s a chance Daniel will genuinely give things another try with Heather during Christel Khalil’s aforementioned maternity leave – only to realize they no longer work as a couple.
Regardless, it might be a good idea to explore some other possible pairings for Heather if she’s going to be living in Genoa City for a while.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) might be an interesting option for Heather, particularly since they were romantically entangled once upon a time.
If Heather ultimately gets rejected by Daniel, she might drown her sorrows and run into a lonely, frustrated Billy.
Between Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) time away and all the Abbott family drama, Billy might find himself drunk and looking for a way to blow off steam – perhaps in Heather’s bed!
Even if Y&R writers want to wait until Chelsea’s back in the picture, it’s easy to see how Billy and Heather might end up drawn to each other.
Billy might struggle to reconnect with Chelsea and relate to Heather’s struggle to reconnect with Daniel as a result. It’d give Heather and Billy a reason to commiserate over drinks.
Regardless, it’d be fun to at least see an onscreen chemistry test between Billy and Heather, so stay tuned for updates on whether that might happen at some point.
