Jack Disowns Kyle – Throws Son Out for Joining Audra & Tucker’s Team?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) relationship will inevitably go from bad to worse. Things were already tense due to Jack’s unwillingness to give Kyle the co-CEO seat back, but now their bond has shattered even further.
That’s because Kyle overheard Jack talking about how he needed to pay his dues and work his way up at Jabot.
Jack made it crystal clear that he’s given Kyle far more than he deserves, so he feels like his son needs a reset and some tough love.
It’s easy to understand why Kyle wouldn’t want to move backward in his career after having so much Jabot power.
At the same time, Jack has no reason to fire Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) when he’s doing just fine in the co-CEO spot.
Instead of Kyle just handling this with maturity and working on another job search, he’s now poised to become part of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) Jabot takeover plot.
It seems extreme for Kyle to join forces with the enemy and risk blowing up his family, which is what’ll happen if this takeover plot goes too far.
Kyle and Jack’s relationship could feel broken beyond repair by the time all this betrayal drama erupts.
What happens when Jack eventually realizes Kyles’s giving into his worst impulses and becoming a partner to Audra and Tucker?
Y&R spoilers suggest that might depend on how far the Jabot takeover scheme goes, but you can bet Jack won’t be happy.
At this point, Jack is already rather fed up with Kyle for acting whiny, unruly and unremorseful.
Kyle still has some growing up to do in Jack’s eyes, so he’ll be even more furious with his son once this whole situation with Tucker and Audra comes to light.
In fact, Jack might ultimately insist that he no longer considers Kyle his son at all. If things get truly ugly, Jack might disown Kyle and throw him out of the house.
Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) will always be welcome at the Abbott mansion, but Jack may find it impossible to live under the same roof with Kyle any longer.
Even if Jack decides against kicking Kyle out for Harrison’s sake, Kyle might pack up his son and move out anyway!
Jack and Kyle’s relationship is deteriorating fast, so they’ll sink to terrible new levels soon enough.
