Adam’s Revenge After Victor’s Enraging CEO Pick
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will decide it’s time for a meeting about the giant merger mess. Victor wants to create a bigger and better media division, but his efforts have resulted in nothing except drama so far.
Of course, that’s partly Victor’s fault since he keeps changing his mind and getting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) all riled up.
If Victor wanted a smooth transition, he’s gone about it in the worst possible way.
Nevertheless, Victor will play the blame game during the week of August 28-September 1.
After Victor summons Adam, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to the ranch, he’ll rip into them for all the clashing they’ve been doing.
From there, Victor will let each person make a speech about their vision for this merger and why they should be in charge of the Newman Media powerhouse.
Sharon, Nick and Adam will all plead their cases, but Y&R spoilers say this meeting will have an outcome that none of them could’ve expected.
It’s important to note that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be present during all this since she’s about to be named the new CEO of Newman Media!
Nick might be OK with this change, but Sharon will wrestle with whether she really wants to answer to Nikki – especially when she could back out of the deal and do something else with Kirsten Incorporated.
Naturally, Adam will be downright furious and will inevitably argue that Nikki is a terrible choice.
This will be all wrong in Adam’s opinion, but Victor will defend his decision and declare that it’s final.
Nikki currently shares the co-CEO spot of Newman Enterprises with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), but Victor will want someone he trusts at the helm of his media division – and he’ll determine that person should be Nikki.
Once Adam presumably storms out, he’ll quickly start plotting his revenge.
Adam will feel like Victor once again dangled the carrot in front of him and yanked it away, so he’ll think he’s entitled to retaliate.
