Adam & Claire Team Up Against Tucker – Come Together in Sinister Collaboration?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) seemed to know a suspicious amount of information about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and McCall Unlimited during her interview for the role of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) new assistant.

Claire got the job, but questions remain about her ulterior motives for going after the position.

It’s possible Claire is genuinely excited about working under Nikki and working her way up in the company.

However, it feels like there’s more going on here, so we should consider what Claire might be hiding.

There’s a chance that Audra was putting on an act in front of Nikki if she actually knows Claire.

In that case, Claire might’ve worked for Tucker at some point – or she might even be secretly working for him now depending on what other plots he might be cooking up.

There’s the potential for Claire to turn against Tucker, especially now that he’ll be going up against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Adam’s going to need an ally and maybe even a new love interest, so it makes sense that he might get to know Nikki’s new assistant now that he’s playing assistant to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), too.

Since Adam may still be obsessed with Newman Media, he’ll probably get curious about the latest hire and want to know more about Claire.

That could set the stage for an eventual collaboration between Claire and Adam if they indeed form an alliance against Tucker.

Even if Claire isn’t connected to Tucker through any previous work link, she might be holding a grudge that Tucker isn’t aware of yet.

If Tucker’s Monte Carlo car accident was the same one that ended the lives of Claire’s parents, then she might have a reason to target him.

Regardless, Y&R will start peeling back the layers of Claire soon, so Adam might help out with that and recruit her as his conflict with Tucker heats up.

Tucker plans to prove to Adam that it was a massive mistake to make him an enemy, so Adam might fight back and use Claire as part of his scheme.
