The ‘Haunting’ Days of Our Lives Revelation at the Heart of Victor’s Missing Will

The answer we’ve been waiting for on Days of Our Lives is almost within our grasp. Brady and Alex flew off to Greece to get to the bottom of why Victor destroyed his will, only to deduce on Monday’s episode that it has something to do with the letters Kayla found while being held prisoner by Bo.

We don’t know much about them other than the fact that they’re missives he wrote to Caroline… and which were all returned to him in Greece. Victor proclaimed his love for her, even as she tried to forget him as she lived her life as a Brady in Salem.

The cousins make their way over to Victor’s Greek home to figure out just what it is that Victor dug up. “Whatever the letter is that they’re looking for will explain everything and break it all down,” Robert Scott Wilson previewed to Soap Opera Digest in their recent issue.

But it’s not as easy as all that. The letter box that Kayla originally found is, as we know by the end of the episode, empty. The letters are all in Theresa’s hands after she pries open the briefcase Victor had with him when he died.

“They’re very suspicious for sure,” Wilson shared. “There’s been so much secrecy since Victor passed. It’s kind of haunting. There are just a lot of question marks.”

That might just be the understatement of the century. Heck, we’ve got a whole cascade of questions. Are the letters all unreturned from Caroline or are there some to and from others in with them? If they are all Caroline’s, what could be in them that would cause Victor to destroy his will?

Surely, he’d have known their contents already, so it doesn’t seem like there’d have been any great revelation that would have changed things. But it has got to have something to do with his offspring. Brady and Alex connect the dots between visiting Bo and Victor’s letters to his mother, but that might just have been the thought process that took Victor down memory lane… and sparked a memory that changed everything.

What could possibly be in them that would do that, though? Is Bo not really his son? Does Victor have other children with Caroline? Does he talk about other lovers in the letters, leading Victor to realize he might have other children out there?

About all we know right now is, as Wilson told Digest, “There’s so much on the line. The whole [Kiriakis] estate is on the line here.”

And whatever this letter contains, it could change everything not just for the estate, but the entire family.
