Luna is Li’s Niece – Finn’s New Family Connection?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) recently took a secret phone call that offered a mystery about her backstory and who she’s connected to. Luna privately spoke to a woman on the phone who wasn’t happy about her working in Los Angeles and repeatedly warned her to stay away from the Forresters.

We can perhaps assume this woman is Luna’s mother based on how that conversation sounded.

It certainly seemed like this woman had a close relationship with Luna – and she was obviously quite protective of her, too.

However, the voice wasn’t a recognizable one, so Luna’s mom may be a new character as well.

Who is Luna’s mother and why would she be so determined to keep her daughter away from the Forrester clan?

Since B&B probably wants to give Luna some family members on canvas, maybe the mystery caller is Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) sister.

If that’s true, it makes sense that she would’ve heard about all the drama Li’s adoptive son was dragged into when John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) got tangled up with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the Forrester fam.

There was a time when Li blamed the Forresters too back when she had Finn secretly stashed away and was trying to nurse him back to health.

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is really the one responsible for all Finn’s problems, the trouble still started the day Finn married into the Forrester family.

Regardless, if Luna’s mother is Li’s sister, it’s easy to see why she’d want Luna to steer clear of the Forresters and even LA for that matter.

Luna’s mom would want her far away from Sheila, the Forresters and the chaos that’s gone down.

Of course, Luna is a fashion student who intends to learn from the best, so she’s determined to be part of Forrester Creations anyway.

Since Luna refuses to stay away from the Forresters like her mother presumably wants, it’s bound to lead to more issues.

Whatever the case, this could build to Luna reconnecting with Aunt Li as well as Finn, who’d be her cousin by adoption.

It’d be nice to see Finn and Li have a new relative on canvas, but Luna’s mom might eventually show up to insist she needs to leave Los Angeles behind!

If Luna has any link to Finn at all, that could put her in jeopardy when it comes to Sheila.
