In fact, in 2022, as the show celebrated its 35th anniversary and McCook turned 78, he shared his birthday wish, saying that he could do this job until the makers don’t want him anymore moreover, until he doesn’t want to do it. He continued by saying that he didn’t want to get to the point where he couldn’t remember the lines anymore or can’t do the job. He wishes to stay healthy for more 10-20 years.
