Beth’s Crisis Brings Liam & Hope Together – Thomas’ Reason to Worry?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is definitely enjoying her freedom from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) – at least when it comes to her hot hookups with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).

It’s clear that Thomas is satisfying some deep and dangerous part of Hope – a part she could never truly unleash when she was with vanilla Liam.

Thomas represents a rebellious side of Hope that she was never able to surrender to until now.

Since Hope was always so terrified of going down the same path as problematic Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), she tried to be the good girl and preserve that image.

Now Hope is finding another side of herself and doesn’t seem to care whether what she’s doing with Thomas is a mistake or not.

This is about Hope feeling wanted and needed, so she’s grateful for Thomas’ one-woman devotion and powerful attraction to her.

Hope is putting another part of herself on the shelf – the solid and stable family woman who had a dull yet sweet life at that little cabin.

How long will it be until Hope starts missing that life and losing her excitement for the wild one she’s creating with Thomas?

Hope already wavered at Beth Spencer’s (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) birthday party when she saw Liam and their daughter bonding.

It served as a reminder of what Hope was losing, so she made another reunion pitch and would be with Liam right now if he’d been willing to try again.

Liam rejected Hope partly because he was struggling to get past her betrayal with Thomas, but it was mostly due to his growing feelings for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

If Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) marriage survives, that could be a game-changer that leaves Liam open to love with Hope again.

Without Liam’s backup woman to rely on, he might eventually become more open-minded about what he’s willing to get over when it comes to Hope!

Liam is a waffler who’s proven he can’t handle being alone for very long.

Of course, Beth doesn’t know about her parents impending divorce, so she may have a pretty bad reaction once the news leaks.

If the split leads to a meltdown for Beth, that could be something that brings Liam and Hope together.

Liam might even move back in temporarily for Beth’s sake, which could make it feel like old times.

Then again, B&B could always take the medical drama route and have Beth get injured or seriously ill.

That would certainly be a fast path to “Lope” bonding in a time of crisis and could become a reason for Thomas to worry about losing Hope to Liam.

Whatever the case, Liam and Hope may not be completely done with each other depending on what happens with Beth and what the writers have planned long-term.
