Secret Engagement – One Couple Keeps Marriage Promise Under Wraps

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that CBS recently put out some new preview info since they’re about to kick off their 37th season on September 21. As a way to get fans excited, they shared some hints about what’s ahead and included some intriguing story details.

The B&B preview says the fall season will bring a stunning secret engagement – one that could bring a happy ending for a couple on canvas or cause an uproar with a scandal instead.

Of course, that means we have to start thinking about which duo might make a marriage promise and why they might keep it under wraps for a while.

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) relationship seems to be deepening, so we could buy the idea of them getting engaged.

However, there’s not really a good reason for Carter and Katie to hide such wonderful news.

It’s also hard to imagine it being scandalous since everyone except Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) seems to think Katie and Carter are a good match!

Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) wouldn’t make much sense as a secretly engaged couple either.

That seems like something Eric and Donna would want to shout from the rooftops, especially since they’d get plenty of support over their union.

It’d certainly cause quite a stir if Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) accepted a proposal from Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), but it seems too soon since Hope isn’t even divorced from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) yet – not to mention she’s not in love with Thomas at the moment.

That said, hearts and minds can change quickly on B&B, so it’s possible Hope will fall fast and hard in the coming weeks.

It’d be a great twist if Hope popped the question instead and secretly planned a wedding to Thomas once her divorce was finalized.

However, another option might be Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

These two have proven that they have a powerful connection, so Sheila and Deacon just can’t stay away from each other – even when there’s so much at stake for Deacon.

Although Deacon is worried about how Hope and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) would react to his controversial romance, that hasn’t been enough to convince him to truly end things with Sheila.

Deacon might propose to Sheila at some point and decide to follow his heart.

Sheila is clearly the woman that Deacon wants to be with, so he might make a marriage promise and vow to go public eventually.

In the meantime, Deacon and Sheila could enjoy their engagement behind closed doors. That’s the kind of secret that could blow up and cause major drama!

Then again, a wildcard engagement possibility might be Luna (Lisa Yamada) and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), especially if Luna’s got some secret citizenship issues.

RJ might plan to marry Luna to keep her in the country since B&B’s done similar stories before.
