Romy Park Joins B&B as Poppy – Luna’s Mother Shakes Things Up
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the CBS soap is adding another cast member, so let’s talk about a new name listed in the closing credits for the week of October 2-6. Romy Park is playing the role of Poppy and will make her debut before the week winds down.
Of course, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) seemingly offered a hint about her mother’s imminent arrival when she opened up to RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) about her in the October 4 episode.
Luna talked about her mom being a free spirit and a bit of a hippie, so she’s completely different from Luna’s very driven aunt and grandfather.
Knowing what we know about Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), who’s always been very no-nonsense and driven in her career, it’s reasonable to assume she’s the aunt that Luna was referring to.
As for Poppy, that’s certainly a hippie-sounding now that fits the description Luna offered.
It seems safe to say Poppy is Luna’s mom – and she’s most likely the person who called to warn Luna away from the Forresters.
Since phone calls aren’t working, Poppy may eventually show up to ambush Luna in person and try to get her point across.
Some family drama could erupt, especially once Li finds out Poppy is in town.
It sounds like there could be some issues between these potential sisters based on their clashing personalities and history that’s yet to be revealed.
Romy Park has been featured on Ghost Whisperer, Eleventh Hour, The Rookie: Feds and more, but now she’s headed to B&B so that Poppy can shake things up.
It’s always fun to have some new characters and storylines on the CBS soap, so fans will be eager to see Poppy’s first episode and all the chaos she could cause with her arrival.
