General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has been hemming and hawing over his paternity secret for nearly a year.

Learning that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) was his father was the last thing Cody expected when he opened that hospital paperwork.

The disappointment on Mac’s face couldn’t be missed, but it did fly right over Cody’s head as he scrambled to tuck the paperwork away before Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) could see it.

The fact that she requested to made us catch our breath and wonder what would have happened had she got a peek.

How would Cody have explained that? It sounds like he may have to soon as he is inching closer and closer to wanting his dad to know the truth.

Cody and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) have only become friends in recent months.

She didn’t really know him when he took that paternity test — nor when he was grifting for access to the Ice Princess diamond that was never his.

Instead, she’s come to know Cody, the friend who literally saved her life when no one else was willing to do the work required to pull her back from the brink.

Is it time for Sasha to return the favor as she pushes Cody to let his family in and be thankful that he still has one?

Sasha has a sordid past herself. She wasn’t always a celebrity or even the wife of a good man.

Once upon a time, she came to town on Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) dime, being paid to pretend to be Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter.

Her lies eventually caught up to her and she was forced to face the pain she had caused Nina with her games. Even though she had good intentions getting into it, the shame she carries over it haunts her to this day.

She doesn’t want that for Cody and hopes that sharing the story of her mistakes might lead him to fix this while he still can.

Despite Sasha and Nina not actually being related at all, they still share a very special bond. Nina has never really kicked her to the curb, although they didn’t talk for some time after their fallout.

Hearing that from Sasha just might lead Cody to think that Mac still cares about him in the same way he did before they got those test results.
