Gwen Steals Dimitri’s Money & Disappears – Husband Left Poor & Humiliated?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) recently delivered a satisfying curveball when Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) came clean about Dimitri von Leuschner’s (Peter Porte) affair with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
Gwen confessed she already knew Dimitri was cheating with Leo, which is a relief since she previously seemed so oblivious. It’s nice to know that it’s all an act, though many DOOL fans are wondering exactly when Gwen found out the truth.
Did Gwen know Dimitri was marrying her for the inheritance before they ever tied the knot? And when did Gwen become privy to Dimitri and Leo’s dirty little secret?
Regardless, Days has an interesting dilemma that could explain the sudden race to the finish line in this storyline. There’s a good reason why Gwen’s suddenly poised to get her revenge and end Dimitri’s plot with one of her own.
Jen Lilley is currently playing Theresa Donovan, but she’ll be swapped out with Emily O’Brien in the not-too-distant future. Lilley wasn’t around to film the full length of this story, so O’Brien is going to fill in as Theresa and finish the rest of it.
Of course, it could get confusing if O’Brien were still playing Gwen at the same time, so it seems likely Days is about to send Gwen off canvas.
Gwen wouldn’t be putting up with Dimitri’s phony love and antics if there weren’t something in it for her.
CDL says Gwen has big plans to humiliate Dimitri and take all the money he’s been trying to get his hands on.
Dimitri received the first installment of his inherited fortune, which was $20 million. That’s a lot of money, especially for someone like Gwen who grew up poor and struggled over the years.
However, more money would be even better, so Gwen may be trying to ride this out until Dimitri gets the rest of those installment checks. The goal might be to ultimately steal all those millions from a joint bank account and disappear.
Days spoilers say Gwen will scheme with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), so Gwen may give her a substantial cut if Kristen helps her pull off the ultimate revenge.
Perhaps Gwen will take the money and run just in time for O’Brien to switch roles for Theresa’s next chapter.
