On the heels of the news that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s character Steffy is headed off of the Bold & Beautiful canvas this coming week in order to accommodate the actress’ maternity leave, comes an update. The star and her husband Elan Ruspoli have welcomed their fourth child into the world!

As we prepare to bid Steffy adieu as she packs up kids Kelly and Hayes and leaves town to put distance between them and madwoman Sheila, Wood will be embarking on a new adventure at home.

Fans on the lookout for her announcement were rewarded when Wood took to social media to reveal that she gave birth on Sunday, August 27 to a baby boy they named Valor James Ruspoli. Valor is the fourth son for Wood and Ruspoli, who already have three boys: Rise, Lenix, and Brando.

The Bold & Beautiful star, who has just become a mother for the fourth time, told her followers, “Our hearts are so full,” before adding that they have “just been taking this time to slow down and soak in this moment.” Literally, we’re guessing, as Wood is seen in the Instagram post ‘soaking’ with Valor in the tub.

Wood’s onscreen husband, Tanner Novlan (Finn), was one of the first to jump into his co-star’s comments with, “Big congrats!!!” and a red heart emoji. Naomi Matsuda (Li), Courtney Hope (Sally), Karla Mosley (Maya), and Young & Restless’ Lauralee Bell (Christine ‘Cricket’ Blair) were among the other well-wishers.
