Judith Chapman recently expressed excitement about returning to Days of Our Lives on social media. She shared a selfie, citing, “Quick selfie after super work on DAYS.. with dear Greg Rikaart!” Fans were thrilled to learn about her return, but some were confused because she had also appeared in the Thanksgiving episode of The Young and the Restless as Gloria. Chapman clarified that she was honored to be pulling double duty and that she’ll be back on Y&R for the New Year’s Eve show.

Chapman first appeared on Days back in 1989-1991 as Angelica. She would briefly play the role again in 2018 and then returned in 2019 for two months as Diana Cooper, the mother of Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). Fans are now speculating whether Chapman’s upcoming return will be as Angelica or Diana and you’d have to tune in to find out! With Days taping so far in advance, Chapman’s return won’t happen on screen until next year.
