General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease Jake Spencer (Hudson West) could be Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) mischief partner as well as her boyfriend.

Jake was held on Cassadine Island for several years, whereas Charlotte was held in a boarding school in France, but that was plenty of time for Cassadine programming to start working!

General Hospital Spoilers – Helena Cassadine And Victor Cassadine Did Mind Control Experiments

Both Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) did mind control experiments, and Jake was held, presumed dead, several years.

He had horrible flashbacks and nightmares, having been so young, which he was able to mostly work through in art therapy with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).

He was traumatized in particular by the torture and conditioning of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) who he thought was his birth father Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

While Jake appears to be cured from his trauma, it’s possible that post-hypnotic suggestions and triggering mechanisms were implanted.

Charlotte is just starting to manifest the evidence of being programmed, possibly through the tarot cards Victor gave her.

GH Spoilers – The Chimera

Several years ago, Jake and Charlotte, along with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Selzer) performed a magic act for the Nurses’ Ball. They were around eight or maybe nine years old at the time, and Jake had a dangerous device called the “Chimera”.

Luckily, Charlotte’s father Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Emma’s grandmother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) recognized it and took it away from the children before it could be fully activated.

Valentin ran with it and threw it in the ocean, where it exploded before doing any other harm; if Jake was given the Chimera, what else could happen? If the device had not been recognized, the whole town of Port Charles could have been destroyed, and everyone in it!

General Hospital Spoilers – Access To Gasoline, Paint And Ink

Jake, as an artist could have had access to flammable substances such as turpentine or possibly gasoline used to clean paintbrushes, and also paint and ink.

The first clue Anna and Valentin had of danger was the word “Murderer” painted on the door of her townhouse, later destroyed by arson.

The paint being red seems to hold some significance, because later, when Valentin saw Charlotte enter Anna’s Metro Court suite red ink was all over Anna’s new clothes. The message on the mirror was also in red, and Valentin made a connection to that.

Is Charlotte the only one responding to Cassadine programming from years previous, or is Jake responding to programming also and helping her? Drew was activated by tarot cards, and so could Charlotte and Jake be, if she plays games with them with Jake!
