General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could be headed for some sizzling scenes together. There’s no denying that GH writers have been playing up Sonny as someone that Anna can trust and rely on lately – unlike Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who’s been deceiving her for months.

Anna and Valentin’s romance is definitely on the rocks, but this all goes back to their mutual agreement that they’d always put their children first.

That’s exactly what Valentin is doing by protecting Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), even if he’s going about it in the wrong way.

Of course, Valentin is also keeping more secrets about Pikeman, so his relationship with Anna isn’t on solid ground at all.

It just doesn’t feel like any of this is going to end well for Anna and Valentin, so their relationship may blow up and result in bad news.

Anna may lean on Sonny even more after things truly fall apart with Valentin – and Sonny will soon have a reason to lean on Anna, too.

That’s because Sonny’s elopement with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will come with a twist he didn’t see coming.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will make a shocking discovery due to his contact at the SEC, so he’ll have the knowledge he needs to ruin Sonny and Nina’s nuptials during the week of October 9-13.

If Sonny calls off the wedding and dumps Nina, he could find himself in bed with someone else – namely Anna if all these hints add up to a hot fling.

That doesn’t mean Sonny and Anna will become some long-lasting supercouple, but they might seek comfort from each other in the bedroom.

Anna and Sonny have a special, intriguing bond that’s only grown stronger in recent months, so a hookup or two could be in their future as they cope with some romantic splits.
