General Hospital (GH) spoilers that actress Ellen Travolta will reprise her role as Gloria Cerullo, Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) mom, come November. Sounds like she’ll be around for Quartermaine Thanksgiving festivities; however, will she have an ulterior motive for returning to Port Charles?

General Hospital Spoilers  – Gloria Cerullo Returns After Being Absent For Decades

GH spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may have her hands full at Thanksgiving dinner, managing the larger-than-life personalities of both her grannies.

After all, Gloria is sure to butt heads with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), especially in light of what Ms. Q recently pulled with their granddaughter.

For fans that recall, Gloria first arrived in Port Chuckles in 1994 and left in 1996 as she was tied closely to Lois’s storylines. When her daughter left the canvas, so did she.

GH Spoilers – Gloria Cerullo Is Ready To Make Things Right

It’ll be really cool for fans to see Gloria re-enter the mix and spend time with Lois and BLQ. Still, if she’s caught wind of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) believing he’s Eddie Maine, the very man her daughter fell in love with so many years ago, she may feel like it’s a sign.

Eddie/Ned had a wonderful romance with Lois, one that produced Brook Lynn and, in many ways, it was cut way too short. Gloria may view Ned’s memory switch as a “sign” of a second chance for the two. Not only as a romantic reunion but to bring their family together, once again.

As there seems no timeline in sight for the old Ned to return, Lois’s mom may believe that if she meddles just a little, her daughter could have the love of her life back.

Still, as Lois and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) are friends, this likely means Gloria and Oliva are tight, too, so it’s hard to imagine she’d purposely try and come between a marriage of a friend.
