Ava’s In Danger, Mason’s Revenge-A Deadly Cliff Dive?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) is in serious danger thanks to Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) revenge. He’s had her in a basement in Pautuck and now he throws her in the backseat of his car and heads for a cliff!
General Hospital Spoilers: Mason Gatlin’s Tired Of Waiting On Further Instructions
Mason’s tired of waiting on further instructions from the “boss” Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and hauls off, with Ava bound in the backseat.
As Ava pleads with him to release her, he realizes he’s in a bad situation-if he lets her go, and she goes to the cops, Cyrus isn’t in trouble, he is! In spite of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) wishes she be kept alive-which he had gone by, Cyrus had ordered Ava killed, but now all is in limbo.
Not only the police, but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be after Mason if he lets Ava go, and he knows it, but he’s between a rock and a hard place. Cyrus wanted her killed, he didn’t kill her because of Nikolas, and now Mason for the first time panics-he couldn’t just keep her in the basement.
GH Spoilers: Ava Jerome Tries Flirting
Ava tries flirting with Mason, to try and sweet talk him into letting her go-but all that does is serve to insult his intelligence! Mason flies into a rage, and tells her she can’t fool him-and then gets jealous of Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) who she chose to sleep with instead of him.
Mason doesn’t take kindly to being treated like Ava thinks he’s stupid and thought of like low class trailer trash, which he’s picked up on in her attitude. So, the more Mason obsesses with these things, the madder and madder he becomes; and he has his own skin to think about saving. He doesn’t believe a word she says when she promises to keep him safe from Sonny if she makes it back home safely.
General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus Renault Calls To Let Ava Jerome Go, But He Doesn’t Want To
By the time Mason gets a call from Cyrus, who’s apparently changed his mind about wanting Ava dead and tells him to let her go, Mason’s so mad he doesn’t want to.
At this point, Mason doesn’t give a flip what either Cyrus or Nikolas thinks, he’s furious with Ava and wants to kill her anyway while there are no witnesses. Mason was told to take Ava to this particular cliff, so what did she think was going to happen, as she starts screaming her objections?
Also playing into Mason’s rage is the feeling that Cyrus doesn’t care what happens to him as a result of his obeying his orders. So Mason gives into his urges and decides he’s going to kill Ava-will she get away, or will someone pop out of nowhere to save her?
