General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) believes that she killed Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) after hitting him over the head. But the truth is that Nikolas survived Ava’s blow and was nursed to health by Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). Austin pretended to help Ava dispose of Nikolas’ body when in reality he moved Nikolas somewhere safe so that he could recover.
Meanwhile, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) let Ava believe that he had Nikolas’ dead body and was blackmailing her into helping him do the bidding of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt knew Nikolas Cassadine Was Alive The Whole Time!
All the while Mason was seemingly blackmailing both Austin and Ava, Austin knew that Nikolas was alive and well. Nikolas healed so completely he left Austin’s care and began travelling in Europe.
Meanwhile, Nikolas’ mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) began to search all over Europe to locate her missing son. Laura’s search eventually led her to a bank where most of Nikolas’ money was kept. Laura made an astonishing discovery at the bank!
GH Spoilers – Laura Collins Found Proof That Nikolas Cassadine Was Alive!
Laura discovered that Nikolas was at the very same bank and was making regular withdrawals. This proved to Laura that her son was still alive. He just didn’t want to be found. Happy that her son was alive, Laura was nonetheless upset by his decision to go into hiding.
Nikolas will face criminal charges in Port Charles should he ever return for kidnapping Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), the mother of his newborn son.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Will Soon Learn A Startling Truth!
Ava and Laura haven’t had a chance to catch up since Laura returned from overseas. Ava had been held by Mason and was just recently saved by Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Once Ava learns from Laura that Nikolas has been alive all this time, it will cause her to doubt Austin even more.
Look for Ava to confront Austin and demand the truth once and for all. This will likely end any chance of romance for this couple but it could lead to the truth of Cyrus’ involvement in Nikolas’ recovery,
