General Hospital spoilers tease Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) keeps his friends close and his enemies closer. Despite Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) growing affection for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) ever since he came to town, he’s not keen on the guy.
As Cody has been cozying up to Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) — and saving her from disaster and despair at every turn — he has managed to earn a bit more clout with Spinelli.
Still, he’ll have his eye on the guy as he continues to work closely with Sasha — someone Spin is fiercely protective of. But when Spinelli digs into Cody to calm his own concerns about him growing closer to Sasha, he’ll find a secret so damning that he won’t want him anywhere near Maxie and the kids.

If there is dirt on someone, Spinelli can find it. Recall back when Cody first came to town and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) wanted to know all she could find on the guy. He was Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) best friend, and she didn’t trust him.
Now, the sleuth is going to return to his original plan, sans Sam’s support. When he unearths a dark secret on Cody’s juvenile record, he’ll give him no grace for how long ago it happened.

Of course, we already know the offense on Cody’s juvenile record was really a crime that Dante committed. Cody took the fall for him and it probably changed the course of his life forever. Is this why Dante feels so indebted to the guy and tolerates his mistakes?
Does he feel guilty, or as though Cody wouldn’t be who he is if he hadn’t walked into adulthood with a rap sheet, courtesy of Dante?
Either way, when his secret comes out now, Cody will have to make the choice between rolling over on his best friend or staying silent and potentially losing Sasha and everyone else he cares about.

Spinelli won’t have a problem alerting the people he considers to be most important in his life to what he finds in Cody’s background. He’ll start with Maxie.
If he thinks Cody is dangerous, he won’t want him anywhere near his daughter — and Maxie is likely to respect that even if she doesn’t feel exactly the same way about Cody that Spin does.
When Spinelli takes his report to Sam, she’s not going to hesitate to tell Dante and ask whether he knew.
Is this the point at which Dante will have to come clean, or is he going to be a coward for the first time in — well, forever?
