General Hospital Recap: Thursday, November 23 – Emma Returns - Charlotte Loses It On Valentin – Blaze’s Flowers for Kristina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 23, reveals that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) wasn’t really feeling up for Thanksgiving this year since it was always such a disaster, but Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) had big plans for a day full of surprises.

Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) arrived after taking the bus to Port Charles, so Olivia ran over to hug her as Lois smiled over her mom coming as planned.

At Alexis Cassadine’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, she celebrated the holiday with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).

Although Molly and TJ had been through a tough time lately due to the loss of their baby, Molly suggested that today was about focusing on what they had and not what they didn’t have.

Kristina called Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and invited her to the Thanksgiving bash, so Blaze showed up with flowers and thanked Kristina for saving her from a night alone with takeout and true crime TV.

There were some heartwarming moments all around before Alexis made a toast to the Davis family – past, present and future.

At Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) apartment, she was in a hurry to get to the Quartermaine mansion since Lois said to come early.

After Brook Lynn said things were a lot more peaceful at home these days, Chase noticed her use of the word “home” and worried she wanted to move back to the Q manse.

Brook Lynn asked if Chase wanted her to move out, but they cleared up the confusion and established that they both liked their new living arrangement.

After Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) brought Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) home from the hospital, they spoke alone while Charlotte was in her room.

Laura insisted they had to break Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) hold on Charlotte – starting with a difficult conversation.

Charlotte overheard the “difficult conversation” part and wondered what her grandma meant.

Valentin admitted to Charlotte that he knew what she’d been up to and mentioned the red spray paint in her backpack.

Charlotte lied that she wanted to try some street art, but Valentin insisted that her behavior had been cruel and dangerous.

Valentin tried to get Charlotte to see that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) firing at her was an accident and that Victor had been manipulating her, but Charlotte refused to believe that.

Although Valentin knew Charlotte was trying to scare Anna, he said Charlotte lit a devastating fire that could’ve taken someone’s life. Charlotte argued that she never set fire to Anna’s house and asked how Valentin could even think that.

After Charlotte said she talked to Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) about this, she added that Nina believed her.

Valentin kept pushing for honesty and brought up the letter he found in Charlotte’s room along with the tarot cards that he knew were from Victor.

Charlotte blew up at Valentin for going through her stuff and insisted she only wanted to protect her papa.

Laura tried to help Valentin convince Charlotte of Victor’s manipulation, but Charlotte thought Anna was the one manipulating Valentin instead.

After Charlotte stomped outside, Laura urged Valentin to let her have some space for now. Although Laura hated to leave, she had a municipal parade appearance to get to.

Once Valentin was alone, he gazed at Charlotte through the window and was obviously worried about her.

At the Metro Court, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) knocked on the door of Anna’s suite and told her to “wakey, wakey” since he had a surprise. Anna dragged herself out of bed and complained since she was in the middle of a Thanksgiving pity party.

After Anna got dressed and asked how to get rid of Robert, there was a knock at the door.

Anna opened it to find Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and hugged her granddaughter as they had a happy reunion.

While Anna caught up with Emma, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) shared a heartfelt scene with Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) and thanked him for being so understanding when he was “Eddie Maine.”

Leo spent some time with Ferdinand the alpaca and put Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) on the spot when he came in. After Leo said Ferdinand probably wished he was posing for more fancy photos with Cody and his girlfriend Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), Cody looked uneasy.

Later, Ned realized Gloria was visiting and gave her a big hug. Gloria also greeted Brook Lynn and Chase before Sasha showed up for the gathering.

Leo exclaimed that Cody’s girlfriend was there, so Cody exchanged an awkward look with Sasha on Thursday’s GH episode.

Although Cody spoke to Sasha privately and offered to leave if she was uncomfortable, she insisted it was fine and that they shouldn’t make today about them.

Leo led to even more awkwardness when he wondered if Cody and Sasha were going to live together like Brook Lynn lived with Chase.

Sasha eventually stepped out of the house, so Cody followed and found her in the stables with Ferdinand.

After Sasha admitted she needed a break, she reflected on the losses she’d faced and how much her life had changed.

Cody talked about how strong Sasha was, so she confessed that getting praise like that made her feel disloyal – like she was leaving Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Liam Corbin behind.

Inviting anyone else into the mess Sasha was feeling was just too much right now.

Cody understood that Sasha needed space to heal and wasn’t going to make things more complicated for her.

Sasha asked if Cody was really OK with that, even when there were no guarantees of what would happen between them.

Cody promised he was positive and made sure Sasha didn’t feel pressured.

In the Quartermaine kitchen, Gloria seemed unsettled as she ignored a phone call from Uncle Pete.

Lois played up how nothing would go wrong this Thanksgiving, but Gloria looked at her phone nervously.

Just when it seemed like the Thanksgiving meal would actually work out for once, the smoke alarm started blaring in the living room as the curse continued.

General Hospital spoilers say Lois will get to the bottom of Gloria’s secret soon, so stay tuned for updates on the shocking news she’s hiding.
