Dimitri Shocks Leo With His Plan For Stefan and Gabi

At the Salem Inn, Leo yells at Dimitri for cheating on him with his wife. After Leo rehashes Gwen’s vivid recounting of their sex life, Dimitri assures him Gwen’s lying. They’ve barely touched each other in the last 24 hours. While they, of course, have had sex, Dimitri promises it’s only out of obligation for him. However, he’s sleeping with Leo because “I love you.”

At the DiMera mansion, Gwen tells a shocked Kristen she knows about Leo and Dimitri. While she was a naïve fool initially, she jumped off cloud nine and is back to being her cynical, misanthropic self. She started to see Dimitri and Leo for the lying snakes that they are when Leo crashed her honeymoon.

Stefan and Gabi gloat at home over having the upper hand on Dimitri. Gabi suggests they not stop at his DiMera assets, but go after his von Leuschner inheritance too. Stefan counters that if they take his DiMera shares and his von Leuschner fortune, he’ll have no incentive to keep them quiet. Dimitri needs something to lose in order for them to exploit him. Gabi just wants a bigger payday, but Stefan doesn’t think they can afford to be greedy.

In Greece, Brady and Alex ask Konstantin what he met with Victor about. Konstantin recalls detecting something weighing on Victor other than his ailing son, Bo. However, Victor didn’t tell him anything or mention his will. But he did mention a letter.

In Alex’s hotel room, Theresa is shocked to open the door to her father. Equally surprised, Shane assumes she’s there because of Brady. Theresa reluctantly admits she followed him, but only to help him and Alex. Deducing they don’t want her help, Shane hates to see her chasing someone who doesn’t appreciate how wonderful she is.

“You love me?” a stunned Leo asks Dimitri at the Salem Inn. “Me?” When they met with the lawyer, Dimitri realized his feelings go beyond attraction and lust. “But it’s those, too, right?” Leo asks. Dimitri confirms, but he also misses him when he’s not around. He wants to share everything with him and wants to make him happy. “I love you,” he repeats. “I love you too, Dimitri,” Leo says before they kiss hard.

In Greece, Konstantin recalls Victor saying the letter was of great importance, but that’s it. When he steps away, Brady remembers that Kayla found a box of old letters when Bo held her in Victor’s old house. There were a bunch addressed to Caroline, returned unopened. When Konstantin returns, Brady asks if he knows where Victor’s childhood home is. Konstantin would be happy to show them.

At the hotel, Theresa admits she’s tried to move on from Brady, but no one measures up. She’s trying to play it cool and make Brady think she has a thing for Alex, which she doesn’t. Shane wonders how far she’s planning on taking this deception. Theresa isn’t planning anything. She’s just holding on to hope that Brady will realize she’s changed and will fall in love with her again.

Gwen recounts to Kristen all the times she should have realized Leo and Dimitri were shagging behind her back. She then explains she secretly caught them in flagrante after popping out for Icelandic treats. She was angry and terribly hurt, but she couldn’t figure out why Dimitri married her only to have an affair with a man… until she overheard Kristen and Dimitri discussing his von Leuschner inheritance. Kristen insists she thought Dimitri was only sleeping with Leo to keep him quiet. She didn’t realize the depths of Dimitri’s betrayal. She reveals to a teary Gwen that Dimitri and Leo are in love.

When Leo and Dimitri pull back from their kiss, Dimitri shares that Gabi and Stefan are blackmailing him. Panicked, Leo wonders what they’re going to do. “Kill them,” Dimitri flatly responds. Leo bristles at the thought, but Dimitri has no qualms. “You forget who I am,” Dimitri evenly says. “I nearly took out half of Salem with a peacock. Remember?” Leo offers that was during his world domination era. He’s moved on to his gentleman of leisure, afternoon of sex and reality TV era. Dimitri insists Leo doesn’t need to be part of it, but he won’t let two newly discovered relatives ruin everything for him. He will do everything he can to make sure they don’t. All Leo has to do is keep his mouth shut and look pretty.

At the mansion, Stefan muses that when they get Dimitri’s DiMera shares, their voting block will almost guarantee they are the deciding votes. So, if Chad and EJ want any kind of say, they will have to kowtow to them. Gabi likes the idea of EJ groveling. Plus, they could eventually run the whole company and kick EJ out on his ass.

At the Greek hotel, Theresa notes Shane’s industrial briefcase. Shane explains it’s Victor’s, which was recovered from the wreckage. It contains his personal effects and legal documents. He thought Alex and Brady would like to take it home to Maggie. Before he leaves, Shane urges Theresa to find a man worthy of her. Once he’s gone, Theresa gets a mischievous look on her face as she inspects the case.

In their bedroom, Gabi tells Stefan it’s time to go in for the kill. Stefan texts Dimitri to ask what he’s decided.

At the Salem Inn, Dimitri sees Stefan’s text and ignores it. While the hit on Gabi and Stefan will take some planning, Dimitri does have to go home to Gwen. He kisses a conflicted Leo goodbye.

When Gwen wants to confront Dimitri, Kristen suggests they turn the tables instead. With a glint in her eye, Gwen agrees to join forces to get back at Dimitri and Leo for what they did to them.

Konstantin brings Alex and Brady to Victor’s old wine cellar. Alex finds a metal box, but it’s empty. At the hotel, Theresa breaks into the briefcase. She finds a stack of letters and grins.
