Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) pursuit of power could land him on Clyde Weston’s (James Read) radar. Clyde’s probably going to be impressed over Stefan’s latest round of DiMera scheming and could see a golden opportunity.

Days fans know Clyde’s original plan was to force EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to run his new pharmaceutical empire, but Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) botched it when she made sure Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) got rescued.

Clyde decided Ava would have to run things once his leverage over EJ was gone and has been threatening Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) to get her on board.

However, it looks like business will be booming soon, so that could lead to another recruit and some expansion plans.

Stefan is going to need a new storyline after Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) exits, so it seems this is what DOOL writers have chosen for him.

Days spoilers say Stefan will get roped into Clyde’s criminal activities, so maybe Clyde will threaten Gabi if she lands behind bars following Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) demise.

Gabi has been badly beaten in prison before, so Clyde might admit he’s got some friends on the women’s side of Statesville who could offer a repeat performance.

On the flip side, if Stefan does what he’s told, Clyde might insist that he can guarantee Gabi’s safety.

It’d be easy for Clyde to lock Stefan into working for him in that case.

In the extended promo first released at Day of Days, Stefan complains to Ava about Clyde’s call earlier and delivers news about The Bistro becoming more than just a drug front.

Clyde might want to expand to other illegal goods and raise the stakes. Stefan may become Gil Carter’s (David S. Lee) replacement if Gil gets wiped off the map for stepping out of line or making a costly mistake.

Of course, it could be tough for Stefan to juggle running DiMera Enterprises with running The Bistro and helping run Clyde’s shady business as well.

That could put Stefan’s control of the DiMera throne in jeopardy, so we’ll see how it all plays out.

Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stefan and Ava will be forced to work together, so Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) may grow suspicious and seek updates on what they’re really up to.
