90 Day Fiancé star Karine Martins posted a cryptic post which suggests Paul Staehle has died after claiming he’s gone missing. The 27-year-old Brazilian native and her 39-year-old husband have been a part of the reality TV franchise since their debut in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2017. Karine and Paul’s chaotic relationship made its way to several spin-offs until 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 5. There were rumors of Paul and Karine being fired because of their abuse allegations. Fans have since followed their journey on Instagram, where the couple was, until recently, fighting together for the custody of their kids.
Karine recently posted an update where she claimed Paul had gone missing in Brazil. She asked 90 Day Fiancé fans to send prayers. But just one day after she posted the Instagram Story, Karine shared a shocking Reel update.
Karine captioned the post, “Not all of our memories were bad. Our children loved you very much.” She continued, “We will never forgot [sic] you or the good memories we all shared.” The accompanying video was a compilation of several photos of Paul and Karine with their kids Pierre and Ethan. Karine’s message for Paul made it look like he passed away. But Karine hasn’t confirmed anything.

Meanwhile, Karine proceeded to share a second strange post about life insurance in her Instagram Stories. The post read, “Life insurance is a final way of telling your loved ones ‘Ive got you.'” Karine again decided to not give any context to her Story. Instagram user @90daythemelanatedway reposted Karine’s post about Paul where fans and cast members shared their reactions to the news.
Cortney Reardanz noted, “Your ex ‘died’ then later fake news. Your baby daddy goes missing the next day…and you post happy Thursday…then a life insurance ad,” referring to Karine’s ex-boyfriend Josh Seiter, who was recently involved in a death hoax incident. Reality TV viewers were shocked when they came across a post about the former Bachelorette star’s death announcement on his Instagram. But Josh resurfaced a day later to claim he was hacked and that he is alive and well. Paul and Karine split in December 2021 after a video of her allegedly assaulting him at their home had leaked online. In November 2022, Karine revealed she was in a relationship with Josh. The romance, however, lasted for less than a month.
