Week of September 4 – Vivian’s Comeback Outrage – Shocking Mystery Solved – Victor’s Funeral
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview video for the week of September 4-8 reveals that there’ll be more returns as the show prepares for a final goodbye. Chelsea Brady (Rachel Melvin) will show back up for her grandfather’s funeral and will admit a world without Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) just doesn’t seem right.
Chelsea can be seen having a joyful reunion with Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) in DOOL’s weekly promo, so they’ll manage to find a silver lining on this sad occasion.
It’s a shame that the family couldn’t reconnect under different circumstances, but Victor would be glad to know his loved ones are coming together like this.
Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will give a tearful speech before Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) takes his turn at a heartfelt farewell.
Of course, other family members like Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and even Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) should have a chance to speak as well.
Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) can’t attend his bio dad’s funeral since he’s still in a coma, but Days will find a way to include him through some flashbacks.
As the funeral winds down, there’ll be an unexpected comeback that leaves Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) furious.
“What the hell are you doing here?!” Kate asks Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) in Days’ weekly preview video.
Vivian will saunter in and announce that she’s there to bid adieu to the “love of her life,” which will earn an eye roll from Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers). Although Vivian used to be married to Victor, she’ll really just use that old connection as a way to stir the pot.
Other Days spoilers say “John Doe” aka Dick Van Dyke’s mystery character will enjoy a little song and dance at the hospital, where Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) will join in the fun.
Later, DOOL’s weekly promo claims a mystery will be solved as “John Doe” asks if Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) know who he is.
John will get confirmation from a veteran hospital that the man’s name is Joseph Bell, but he could actually be the real Timothy Robicheaux (Tobin Bell) since they were in the same army unit and might’ve swapped identities.
This could be a situation where Dick Van Dyke’s character ended up with the wrong dog tags and never knew the truth because of the head injury that’s causing all his memory issues now. That means this mystery man could turn out to be John’s biological father!
