Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) won’t be able to shake the feeling that Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) recently adopted baby actually belongs to her instead.

Nicole will take the infant in her arms and realize it’s her son almost immediately, so Days spoilers say there’ll be a lot of mother’s intuition going on.

Although Nicole will blame Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) for setting all this in motion somehow, she won’t have any evidence of that.

Nicole will at least get Eric to agree to a DNA test, but Sloan and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) can just resort to more trickery – especially with Dr. Pierce (Steve Mize) on their payroll.

Days spoilers indicate Dr. Pierce has access to the lab and can make the results say Nicole isn’t a match.

If EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) DNA sample is used, he wouldn’t be a match anyway since he’s not this child’s biological father.

Regardless, Days spoilers say it’ll be a case of deceptive DNA results since Nicole is indeed this baby’s mom, but she’ll be led to believe she’s wrong about her gut feeling.

Will Nicole be willing to let this go once there’s “proof” that the baby doesn’t belong to her?

It’s possible Nicole will assume Sloan has once again manipulated things as part of an elaborate plot.

Nicole understands how Sloan operates since she’s carried out her fair share of similar schemes on DOOL.

It won’t be hard for Nicole to get inside Sloan’s head here and know that something just isn’t right.

However, there won’t be much Nicole can do when it seems like the facts aren’t in her favor.

Once Nicole reacts to the DNA results, she may find herself in a distressed state with an important choice to make.

That could set the stage for some chaos if Nicole grabs the baby and runs!

Since Nicole will be acting on instinct and will be so desperate for a reunion with her son, it could lead to a move that drastic.

Of course, Nicole may not get very far before she realizes she can’t do this.

Eric might catch up with Nicole and stop her from making a mistake, especially since she needs to stick around and be a mom to Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).

Even if it turns out to be a very brief kidnapping, it’s easy to imagine Nicole snatching the baby for a bit as she tries to come to grips with the DNA updates.

Nicole won’t get the news she expects or wants, so it’ll be tough for her to walk away from the child we know belongs to her.
